Odessa itself

Our yard sits right on 2012 46th St in Odessa, and this is still where most of our work happens. From the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum and downtown core out through the newer subdivisions on the west and south side toward West Odessa and Gardendale, and into the growing Permian Basin economy that Odessa anchors alongside Midland, we have put containers on just about every kind of lot this part of West Texas has.

If the container has to sit on a public street or sidewalk rather than your own driveway or yard, the City of Odessa governs that placement through its own Engineering Department permit process (no dumpster-specific fee is published anywhere on the City's own site that we could independently confirm, so we never print a figure as gospel here) — check current requirements by calling the Engineering Department directly. Private property itself is unregulated. Outside Odessa's own city limits, every other incorporated city or town in our service area handles its own placement permits through its own council or public works department; and on unincorporated Ector County land — with no township layer to fall back on — Ector County’s own Development Services department handles it — every unincorporated community we serve sits in Ector County itself. Confirm the current fee and process directly with whichever office applies, and allow lead time before you plan a same-day drop. Prohibited items follow Texas’s statewide landfill regulations: lead-acid batteries and whole, unprocessed tires are flatly barred from an ordinary MSW landfill load (30 TAC § 330.15 — improperly disposing of a battery is a Class A misdemeanor under Texas law). Computers and TVs don't carry a blanket Texas landfill ban, but each has its own manufacturer-funded recycling program — computers and TVs — and that's the resource we point customers to for those two categories.
