Odessa was founded in July 1881 along the Texas and Pacific Railway, and the town’s modern economy took shape 45 years later when the first oil well came in about 16 miles southwest on December 28, 1926 — the start of the Permian Basin oil boom that still defines this part of West Texas. A roll-off dumpster is the general-purpose option: one container, dropped where you need it, sized to the job rather than a one-size-fits-all guess. We run five sizes — 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard — and quote every job flat-rate over the phone once we know what’s coming out and roughly how much of it.

Which Size Fits Which Job

A 10 yard handles a small cleanout, a single-layer roof tear-off, or a modest yard job. A 15 yard steps up for a garage purge or a small remodel. A 20 yard is our most-booked all-around size, covering kitchen remodels, retail buildouts, and multi-room cleanouts. A 30 yard fits whole-house renovations and larger commercial jobs, and a 40 yard is built for ground-up construction and major demolition. How Delivery and Pickup Work

Call and describe the job — what’s coming out, roughly how much, and where the container needs to sit. We’ll recommend a size, quote it flat-rate, and set a delivery window inside our Monday–Saturday, 7am–7pm hours. When you’re done, call for pickup, or set up a swap-out schedule from the start if the job’s going to run for a while. It’s the same process whether it’s a homeowner cleanout or a contractor running several containers across an active jobsite.

Permits: Rare, But Here’s How They Work

Placement entirely on private property — driveway, yard, jobsite, parking lot — needs no permit anywhere in our service area, and that covers most of the deliveries we do. Street placement inside Odessa city limits goes through the City’s Engineering Department; in unincorporated Ector County (West Odessa, Notrees, Penwell, Pleasant Farms, Gardendale) it’s the County’s Development Services department, with no fee for the permit itself. What Goes In, What Doesn’t

General household, construction, and cleanout debris is standard in a roll-off. Whole unprocessed tires, lead-acid batteries, and do-it-yourself motor oil are barred from Texas landfills under 30 TAC § 330.15, and CFC-containing appliances like refrigerators and A/C units need refrigerant recovered before landfill disposal. The Permian Basin runs windy from late February through mid-July, with April the windiest month on average, and that stretch brings hail and occasional tornado risk along with the wind.
