What Doesn't Fit and Weight Considerations

The 2–3 ton allowance covers most remodel and roofing loads comfortably, but a heavy tile or full shingle tear-off can still push toward that limit — tell us the scope upfront. Old refrigerators, freezers, and window A/C units need refrigerant recovered before they can go to landfill, so those get routed to an appliance recycler rather than the box. Whole tires are barred from landfill disposal under 30 TAC § 330.15 and need to be cut or shredded first, so they belong at a tire retailer. Asbestos, common in older insulation and some flooring adhesive, is never permitted in any container — that always calls for a licensed abatement contractor.
